Powerful Moisture Control for Larger Homes

The MeacoDry Arete® Two 20L is designed to manage excess household humidity in larger properties with approximately three to five bedrooms.

By extracting excess water vapour from the surrounding air, it can help reduce humidity-related condensation and create conditions that are less favourable to moisture-related dampness and mould development.

The compressor system has a specified operating range of 5°C to 35°C. As with any compressor dehumidifier, actual extraction performance varies according to temperature and relative humidity rather than remaining at the headline maximum extraction figure in all conditions.

DC Motor with Airflow up to 255m³/h

An advanced DC motor gives the Arete® Two increased airflow while maintaining a focus on energy use and operating noise.

Three fan speeds provide 150m³/h on Low, 175m³/h on Medium and up to 255m³/h on High. This additional high-speed setting gives you greater flexibility when stronger air circulation is useful, particularly during indoor laundry drying.

Despite the increased airflow available, operating noise starts from just 38dB(A) on the quieter setting. The three specified noise levels are 38, 40 and 50dB(A), depending on fan speed.

Smart Laundry Mode for Faster Indoor Drying

Drying washing indoors releases significant amounts of moisture into your home. Smart Laundry Mode is designed to remove this moisture while the three-speed fan system circulates dry air around the laundry area.

A manually adjustable louvre allows you to direct airflow towards the general drying area, helping make effective use of the Arete® Two's maximum 255m³/h airflow while moisture is extracted from the surrounding air.

This combination of powerful airflow, moisture extraction and adjustable air direction makes Laundry Mode one of the Arete® Two's most useful features for households that regularly dry clothes indoors.

Smart App & Voice Control

Built-in smart connectivity gives you more ways to interact with the Arete® Two. The Meaco app provides convenient control from a compatible device without requiring you to be directly beside the appliance.

Support for Amazon Alexa and Google voice control adds compatible smart-home integration, giving you another convenient way to control the dehumidifier.

On the appliance itself, Meaco's premium LCD Chase display provides useful information at a glance, including current humidity, target humidity, selected operating mode and timer status.

Smart Humidity Control

Smart Humidity Mode helps simplify everyday moisture management by allowing the Arete® Two to work towards your chosen relative humidity level.

The variable humidistat can be adjusted between 40% and 70% RH, while the display includes visual indicators to make changing humidity conditions easier to understand.

Adjustable 1–24 hour On and Off timers provide additional flexibility when fitting dehumidification around your daily routine.

2-in-1 Dehumidifier & Air Purifier

The Arete® Two combines moisture extraction with particulate air filtration in one appliance. A washable dust filter captures larger airborne debris, while the included H13 HEPA filter provides finer particle filtration as room air passes through the appliance.

Independent Air Purification Mode allows room air to circulate through the filtration system without dehumidification, keeping the air-care functionality useful during warmer or drier periods when moisture removal isn't required.

A compatible charcoal filter is also available separately where additional filtration for smells and volatile organic compounds is required.

Quiet Operation & Night Mode

The Arete® Two operates from just 38dB(A) on its quieter fan setting, with specified noise levels of 38, 40 and 50dB(A) across its three fan speeds.

A dedicated Night Mode provides an additional option for periods when reduced disturbance is important, making the appliance practical for suitable bedrooms and other quieter areas of the home.

Large 4.8 Litre Tank & Continuous Drainage

Extracted moisture is collected in a generous 4.8-litre water tank. A tank-full indicator lets you know when attention is required, while automatic shut-off provides added convenience once the tank reaches capacity.

For longer-term operation without regularly emptying the tank, the Arete® Two supports continuous drainage. A supplied adapter accepts a suitable standard garden hose with a 12.5mm diameter. The drainage hose itself is not included.

Where gravity drainage isn't possible, a compatible Arete® drainage pump is available separately for installations where extracted water needs to travel upwards towards a suitable drainage point.
